To that one beautiful soul reading this,
I know you’re tired, you’re fed up, you’re close to breaking, but there’s strength within you, even when you feel weak. Keep fighting.
There’s a brand new you waiting on the other side of this madness. Stay so that you can see what it is all for.
Sometimes, life kick you around, but sooner or later, you realize you’re not just a survivor, You’re a warrior, and you’re stronger than anything life throws your way.
Never forget how far you’ve come. Everything you have gotten through. All the times you have pushed on even when you felt you couldn’t. All the mornings you got out of bed no matter how hard it was. All the times you wanted to give up but you got through another day. Never forget how much strength you have learned and developed.
Today, pick your own pace and your own path. We all need a day to slow down, regroup and recharge. I myself understood myself, only after I destroyed myself. And only in the process of fixing myself, did I know who I really was.
Sometimes self care is exercise and eating right. Sometimes it’s spending time with loved ones or taking a nap. And sometimes it’s watching an entire season of TV in one weekend while you lounge around in your pajamas. Whatever soothes your soul.
Just because you are struggling doesn’t mean you’re failing. Give yourself a break. Stop beating yourself up! Everyone makes mistakes, has setbacks and failures. You don’t come with a book on how to get it right all the time. You will fail sometimes, not because you planned to, but simply because you’re human. Failure is a part of creating a great life.
Be confused, it’s where you begin to learn new things. Be broken, it’s where you begin to heal. Be frustrated, it’s where you start to make more authentic decisions. Be sad, because if we are brave enough we can hear our heart’s wisdom through it.
Be whatever you are right now.
No more hinding.
You are worthy, always.
